Darren Sutton

Darren is an experienced outdoorsman and hunter, who has been hunting in this area since he was a very young boy.  He is married to Carrie.

 

He is a meat cutter and manages the Northside Safeway Meat Department in Grande Prairie.  He has been working there since 1979. 

 

Darren became a firearms safety instructor because of a concern for all hunters out in the bush and especially for children.

Carrie Sutton

Carrie enjoys hunting and the outdoors.  She is married to Darren Sutton and Darren Sherk is her eldest son. 

 

She is an experienced teacher and has been teaching since 1997.  She is presently teaching at John Paul II Catholic School in Grande Prairie. 

 

Carrie became a firearms safety instructor due to an awareness of various firearm related accidents.  She wants everyone to be safe around firearms.

Darren Sherk

Darren is a seasoned outdoorsman and hunter, who has been hunting and fishing in this area since he could walk.  He is married and has two boys.

 

He is very active with Technical Search and Rescue.  He is Grande Prairie's TSR president and the Northwest Regional Director for Alberta TSR.

​

Darren became a firearms safety instructor because he wants all people to be safe with and around firearms, especially when out enjoying all that this beautiful country has to offer.  He is also a member of Technical Search and Rescue in Grande Prairie.
